FitTribe is a fitness app currently in development, based in Delhi, India. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our pre-launch website at joinfittribe.com.

When you complete our survey or join our waitlist, we may collect:

• Your first name (optional — only if you choose to provide it)
• Your email address (optional — only if you choose to provide it)
• Your survey responses about gym habits, fitness challenges, app preferences, and pricing opinions
• Your approximate location (country only, detected automatically to show you relevant pricing)

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data. All fields marked optional are genuinely optional — you can complete the survey without entering your name or email.

🎯 Why we collect it

We collect this information solely for these purposes:

• To understand what problems real gym-goers face, so we can build a better product
• To contact you with early access when FitTribe launches — only if you provide your email and consent to this
• To inform founding member benefits like discounted pricing

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making that affects you.

🔒 How your data is stored

Your data is processed by these third-party services on our behalf:

We do not store your personal data on our own servers beyond what these services hold on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes — ever.

⌛ How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as it takes to launch FitTribe and fulfil our commitment to early access — typically no longer than 12 months from the date you submitted it. After that, or at any time upon your request, we will delete it.

🆕 Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data. These apply under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, GDPR (for EU residents), and other applicable laws:

• Right to access — You can ask us what personal data we hold about you
• Right to correction — You can ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Right to deletion — You can ask us to delete all data we hold about you
• Right to withdraw consent — You can withdraw consent at any time without penalty
• Right to object — You can object to how we use your data

🍪 Cookies and tracking

This website does not use any tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics tools. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking service.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download the font files. Google may log your IP address as part of this request. This is standard practice for websites using web fonts. To avoid this, you can use a browser extension that blocks Google Fonts requests.

Our website uses your IP address once on page load to detect your country and display relevant pricing (India or international). This detection happens via ipapi.co. Your IP address is not stored by us.

👥 Children's privacy

FitTribe is intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

🔄 Changes to this policy

As FitTribe grows from a pre-launch survey into a full product, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect new features and data practices. We will note the date of any changes at the top of this page. Significant changes that affect your rights will be communicated by email if you have provided one.
